Housing implanted in Soengas parish in Gerês.
This set of five Single-family houses located along the bank of the river Caldo has a stunning, unobstructed view of the Gerês Natural Park. The shape of the houses is an evolutionary deformation of the countours of the land itself. Anchored, towering over the ground, the shapes project over the landscape into space. The excavated entries provide a sense of comfort and harmony witch is elevated with the interior organization of the houses. The lobby has a direct view of the landscape and is also where the view recognizes most of the organization of the interior space, making it the link of distribution throughout the interior spaces. The various relationships that are created in house with the differentiation levels, evoque a sense of amazement and mimic the natural irregularity of the existing ground. All five houses are integrated in a closed condominium enverionment, which was designed in order to enhance the link between the owners and the natural surroundings. The access route to the buildings is conveyed with a only way street, allowing the user to enjoy the natural beauty and quiet of the surroundings.
