She was born in Bologna (Italy). She graduated at the Scuola Superiore
Disegno Anatomico and studied design and communication at the Università del
Progetto. After the working experiences at some offices of design and
architecture, at the beginning of the new century she started her free lance
designer activity. An original mark, a human and kind attitude, a good
intuition of the primary needs together with a real knowledge of body and
materials are the main characteristics and values that people and critics
assign to her. She designed houseware, pets accessories, creatures for day and
night, watches, complements and furniture collaborating with several firms,
especially with Alessi and others as MandarinaDuck, Henkel, Seiko, Häagen-Dazs,
Bysteel, Meritalia, Bassetti, Gruppo Coin, Euro3Plast, UnitedPets. She tooks
part at national and international exhibitions, among the last them: The New
Italian Design, Triennale Design Museum at various editions. D come Design: la

Miriam Mirri
lives and works in Milan designing objects for Italian and European companies. After the diploma at the Scuola Superiore di Disegno Anatomico in Bologna, since 1989 she followed the design and communication courses at the Università del Progetto in Reggio Emilia. During the 1991 she moved to London and collaborated as designer with the Branson-Coates Architecture Office. She continued at the professional office of the Università del Progetto srl developing graphic works and products. In the 1993 she settled in Milan where became design-assistant of Stefano Giovannoni in his office. In 2000 she began her freelance designer activity designing for ALESSI and other Italian companies.
