The chair started as an experimental project to develop, on a smaller scale, a project of chesterfield sofa, however, it became a piece on its own right: a common chair with quite an exceptional look. Each upholstered part: wings, arms, back and seat can be removed, simply by unfastening press buttons and a system of elastic webbing that secures them to the chair-frame. The upholstery with modern technique allowed us more flexibility to develop our design for the chair.

Frame: beach wood frame sanded and waxed with a medium dark finish oak tone.
Fabric: smoke grey and charcol grey mix-wool (40% Wool 40% Linen 20% Polyester) (seat and wings), linen (100%) (back). Back cushion is also available in Pavilion Linen Fabric – Harvest Orange by Mini Moderns. Upholstery: every part has been upholstered as a detachable cushion shaped to precisely cup on. The parts are made with foam and Dacron. Finishing: black press fasteners with elastic webs are securing the parts to the frame.
