Transforming vacant offices into a business hub in Port Glasgow
Richard Robb Architects, in partnership with Riverside Inverclyde, have worked on this £1 million-plus contract to transform vacant offices into a state-of-the-art business centre in Port Glasgow, providing accommodation for small to medium businesses and paving the way for regeneration in Port Glasgow.
“The ongoing regeneration of Port Glasgow town centre under the partnership working of Riverside Inverclyde and Inverclyde Council demonstrates our joint focus on bringing new customers to Port Glasgow’s retail core and maximising the footfall within the town centre.”
Councillor Michael McCormick, Inverclyde Council Regeneration Convener
The extensive internal and exterior refurbishment creates a modern and professional working environment to attract new businesses to Inverclyde. Richard Robb Architects worked closely with Riverside Inverclyde and with the contractor WH Kirkwoods in order to bring this project to a high quality of finish. The new business centre attracted interested from the local Belhaven Dental Practice, who became the first resident of the new facility.
