With This project was commissioned to provide storage space for ornaments, books, drinks and art works. This was constructed to my clients design & specification with some input from myself. The thinking behind the white paint finish, rather than using Oak throughout was so the unit did not dominate the room. Painted MDF, American White Oak veneered MDF and solid American White Oak were used in the construction of this project. It was finished using white oil based paint with the Oak parts finished using water based satin lacquer. All the doors & the flap have push catches leaving them free of door handles.
